This photo shows the intersection of the hull plates on the port (left) side of the vessel. The yellow outline shows the section of the hull that will be cut out, removed and replaced. Notice this area is the intersection of several structural plates. The engineering for this repair was done by the vessel’s designer, InCat Crowther of Australia.
